This came in handy on a short trip to Edinburgh to attend a university graduation ceremony. Gave us several good ideas, which were worth the cost. The formatting of ebook can make it hard to navigate on some devices eg my Mac.But you must go to the Royal McGregor for haggis - really not scary at all - and excellent fish and chips.
I uploaded this to a regular kindle. I could not read the maps--the resolution was bad and there was not enough contrast, even if you zoomed in pretty close. The guide requires that you follow the included maps, so if you can't see them, you can't really use the book. Also, on the last several pages of the book, the e-ink was very light and so hard to read. This was pretty much a waste of my money.
Uploaded it to my kindle. Pictures came up over writing. Couldn't read everything. Left out so much to see on the royal mile.
Helped us a lot while in Edinburgh
This "book" contains only about 20 pages of material. Rest is filler. Not worth the money.
A decent guide for a short term stay!
Good reference for Edinburgh.
This book gives a quick look at some of Edinburgh's must see's. I wish we would have had it with us last summer. We walked some of the same routes, but did miss a few things that we were unaware of. Next time, we will know where to stop to have a bite!
